World TB Day

It’s ‘time to #EndTB’

World TB Day, falling on March 24th each year, is designed to build public awareness that tuberculosis today remains an epidemic in much of the world, causing the deaths of nearly one-and-a-half million people each year. On 23 March, the State’s health administration conducted awareness programme for eradication of Tuberculosis (TB) on the occasion of World TB Day. A rally was taken out on this occasion from St. Theresa’s Hospital.

The  Students of Delhi School of Excellence, Attapur joined hands with the doctors and NGOs working for eradication of Tuberculosis and organized an awareness rally to mark World Tuberculosis Day. The rally was to raise awareness of the devastating health, social and economic consequences of the disease, and to step up efforts to end the global epidemic.
