Music has the ability to open the most closed hearts. It gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to imagination and life to everything around us. The students of Grade X B presented an assembly on ‘MUSIC’. They brought a potpourri of different music and corroborated that music has no language barriers.
The students of grade X B presented different genres of music. Even though the lyrics were unfamiliar, the rhythm was catchy and the assemblage was held spellbound by the rendition of ‘Parivare Bhadravatlakam’.
The melodic staging of the song ‘Faded’ by the Norwegian producer Alan Walker’s enthralled everyone. This was followed by Guru Randhawa’s energetic ‘Lahori’ by the students which had helped the singer rise to fame. Music also has the power to invoke feelings of patriotism from the depth of our soul. ‘Ai Watan’ by Gulzar triggered a sense of loyalty to the nation among the audience. The assembly ended with A. R Rahman’s ‘Mile sur mera thumhara’ evoking a sense of togetherness.
