3rd of Oct, 2019 saw the dawn of new adventures and exploration as the students of the three branches of D.S.E rocketed across the Atlantic on an International Educational Field Trip to the United States of America. The first leg of the itinerary took the eager students to Orlando, Florida with a tour of the impressive NASA followed by a rendezvous with Barbara Morgan, the astronaut which kick started the road to discovery. The enchanting rides and fireworks display at the Disney Magic Kingdom and Thematic rides at Universal studios left the children mesmerised. The Capitol Building and White House at Washington D.C offered a glimpse of the places where realms of power reside, the Smithsonian Aerospace Museum gave an insight into how history was made with the children being captivated especially by the first Aeroplane to be made by the Wright Brothers. After travelling across the Brooklyn Bridge, soaking in the beauty of the Manhattan Skyline, gazing up at the statuesque Statue of Liberty and revelling in the colourful atmosphere of Times Square, the children went on the last leg of their journey. As the gates of MIT and Harvard at Boston opened up to welcome the students, they seemed to give wings to new dreams and aspirations.
