The triumvirate virtual meet of the DSE group of institutions took place on 3rd April. 2021 for the induction of the new teachers into the DSE family.
DSE has been a forerunner in providing learning and enrichment to its students. To achieve this, all the new staff members are oriented and inducted meticulously every year. The meeting on the virtual platform was presided by the Chairman Shri P Madhusudhan Rao, Vice Chairperson Ms. Shilpa Ravi, the Secretary Ms. Rama Devi, the Academic Director Ms. Shashikala, the Administrator DSE Attapur Ms. Reshmi, Principals, Vice-Principal and Headmistresses of the three branches.
The ceremony commenced by lighting the lamp and invoking the blessings of the almighty with a prayer song by the Manikonda branch. The dignitaries were welcomed formally and the new entrants were introduced to the clan. It was followed by an inspirational dance by the Attapur branch.
The Chairman, in his speech, appreciated the teachers for their tireless efforts and called them the education warriors. When the whole world was giving excuses, the teachers found excuses to try out novel things to kindle the spirit of learning among students. The other dignitaries too recognized the grit and determination of the digital immigrants to prove that nothing can deter their will power and goodwill for their students.
This was followed by the revelation of the academic calendar by the Academic Director. The teachers were apprised with the important events and dates. The assessment pattern and other important instructions for the upcoming academic year were also discussed.
After the trigonal meet, the teachers dispersed for their branch specific meet. In the Attapur meet, the new teachers were once again welcomed by the Principal Mr. Augustine Thomas. Netiquettes or online etiquettes were brainstormed with the teachers. The new house mentors for the four houses were decided in a novel way using the ‘virtual wheel of fortune’ – which fairly decided the house they would be piloting. Many other teachers were also invested with various responsibilities for the smooth running of the academic year. All’s Well, That Ends Well. The programme ended with a fun-filled brain teaser game once again on a virtual platform, and was enjoyed by the winners and losers with equal enthusiasm.
