A DROP OF INK MAKES MILLIONS THINK-How about a bounty of commitment, heart full of love and mind full of inspiring thoughts and ideas? No wonder these words describe the committed Management and the staff of DSE who left no stone unturned in pioneering the virtual era.
The transformation of a child who once walked into the school with timid eyes to an independent and complete individual, ready to face the challenges of life, is a marvel to behold. It is this experience that turns to be the driving force of DSE. It persuades DSE to stride ahead despite the difficult times. Thus, started the process of virtual election in DSE, Attapur.
An array of events such as campaigning, voting, counting followed the nominations and finally the announcement of the new leaders. The much-awaited 10th Investiture Ceremony was observed on 16 July, in which the leaders were formally bequeathed. The ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the auspicious lamp and prayer. The invocation dance that followed, sought the blessings of lord almighty. The occasion was graced by the benign presence of the chief guest, Col. AK Kulshrestha, Group Commander, NCC Group, Hyderabad and by the members of the Management, Principals and Headmistresses of sister concerns along with our dear students and parents.
The leaders of the new Student Council -2021 were badged by the Secretary DSE group of institutions, Ms. K.Rama Devi, Administrator, Ms. Reshmi, Principal, Mr. Augustine Thomas, Vice-Principal Ms. Bharti and Headmistress Ms. Lakshmi Gowri. The oath of office to the Student Council was administered by the Chief Guest Col. Kulshrestha. The true patriot addressed the virtual gathering and urged the students to uphold the pride of the country and live up to the expectations of the parents and teachers. He sermonized the idea of ‘Being Indian and Believing Indian’ and hoped to see a resurgent India through the young leaders. He also emphasized the idea of teamwork. The Chairman, Sri P.Madhusudan Rao congratulated the students. The Principal, Mr. Augustine Thomas in his address to the students counseled them on being the best at whatever they do and wished them the best for their future endeavors.
The Head boy and the Head girl pledged their loyalty to the school and complete integrity in discharging their duties. They expressed their gratitude to the DSE fraternity for electing them as leaders. A virtual shadow play that portrayed Gandhiji’s qualities, inspired the students to remain rooted in the principles like honesty and sincerity. The cultural secretaries proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to each and everyone who had been a part of the event.
The ceremony ended with the rendition of the national anthem and cheers for the future leaders.
