Teachers Day

Teachers Day

Teeming through the Pandemic- Aiming to set a Benchmark

Teaching is a profession that teaches all the other professions and teachers are the ones who continue to strive despite the challenges…that’s probably why ‘A Guru’ is given the pivotal place along with the Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara….”Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu Guru devo Maheshwara, Guru sakshath parabrahma tasmai Sri Gurave Namah”.

Saturday morning, the eve of Teachers’ Day-4th September, dawned bright and beautiful for all the teachers and students of DSE Attapur. The student fraternity of DSE, Attapur stepped forth to show their gratitude to their beloved mentors who play a key role in moulding them to be responsible future citizens. The students organized a virtual programme which began with tributes being paid to Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan, the visionary teacher who remained an inspiration to the entire teaching fraternity. Soulful renditions, energetic dance moves and thoughtful skits of the Deesians filled up the hearts of the mentors at DSE. The influence of a true teacher transcends beyond class and well into the future and a fine evidence of these words were the wishes from the former students of DSE who left the school to embark on the journey into their future. It was a heart touching, well planned and executed teachers’ day programme by the students.

The pandemic has been a challenging time not only for the frontline warriors and the health care professionals but also for the teachers. Their struggle to adapt to the new normal and continue their teaching was nothing less than a challenge and largely their efforts have remained unsung. But the management of DSE has left no stone unturned to recognise and applaud their teachers who have stood strong through years, supporting the academic infra. The teachers who completed a tenure of five years at DSE were formally felicitated and honoured by the management to acknowledge their valuable services, as DSE believes in coming together and celebrating the experiences of each and every teacher. While the visual treat from the three branches of DSE-Attapur, Manikonda and Banjara, left the teachers speechless, the heartfelt rendition and the message to continue the committed work by Dr.P.Madhusudhan Rao garu, chairperson DSE, left the teachers motivated. The message from the vice chairperson, Ms. Shilpa Ravi ma’am encouraged every teacher to find their personal time to pursue their interests & passion to continue and keep up their zeal. Ms.Rama Devi ma’am, Secretary DSE, Academic director, Ms.B Shashikala ma’am congratulated all the Principals and teachers on their fruitful endeavours.
Thus, this Teacher’s Day was a celebration of the undaunted spirit of every teacher who walked and balanced the tightrope of teaching in poise despite the challenges.

The wonderful programme ended with the national anthem while all the teachers left the meet venue with beautiful memories cherished not just for a day but for a lifetime.
